The rainfall ranges from 560-650 mm per year from April to October. Snowfall usually happens between November to April. In spite of all the weather schedules it still remains quite unstable and at times unpredictable thus making mockery of the weather forecaster.
Moscow also happens to be an apt platform for arts and science, theatre, artists, writers, painters, scientists, etc.. Some of them who prominently figure out are Pushkin,Gogol, Tolstoy, Chekhov,Herzen, Pirogov, Sklifosopsky, Vasnetsov, Serov, Levitan etc. all happen to be moscovites. The communist idea of Karl Marx had its initiation here.
The city houses more than 100 museums and exhibition houses, 30+ professional theatres and concert halls, numerous cinema halls, clubs and civic centers. On the sport front it has hordes of swimming pools, archery and Olympic training centers.
The trade union sports centre of Krylatskove has an amazing cycling track of 13.5 km in a stadium.
